Sylvie is a bilingual (English/French) leadership capacity builder and seasoned management professional with a proven track record in developing teams and businesses in both the private and public sectors.
She holds an MBA, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary's University. She also studied at the University of Ottawa and the University of Manitoba where she completed the course work for the Master's Degree in Linguistics. Prior to joining Fairwinds Training and Development, Sylvie spent over a decade in progressive management roles in the information technology industry where she managed operations, provided in-house training and coaching to managers and employees, and facilitated the strategic planning process. As a trainer and facilitator, her style is dynamic with an emphasis on hands-on learning. She is passionate about personal and professional development and enjoys the synergy that takes place when facilitator and participants share knowledge and experiences. Sylvie is a member of the Centre for Women in Business, the Eastern Kings Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Women's Business Network. She also maintains strong ties with the field of education as a casual faculty member of the School of Business and the School of Health and Human Services at NSCC Kingstec, where she delivers language and communications courses.
